This connector can be used for connecting to a device that has a 5 pin din connection, it has many audio and video uses and is commonly used in the following applications.

1) Low-voltage power supply input connector on various pieces of equipment
2) Some Sony camcorders

Please note that this connector can only be used with a 5 pin din connection and will not work with any other din configurations.
